Louisiana Rice Promotion Board, established in 1972, is committed to promoting Louisiana rice as a healthy, delicious, and versatile grain. In partnership with USA Rice, we work to elevate the awareness and appreciation for this cornerstone of Louisiana agriculture.

Sexual Harassment Policy & Complaint Procedure

The Louisiana Rice Promotion Board is committed to maintaining a workplace free from sexual harassment and discrimination. In compliance with R.S. 42:343, we have adopted the official policy of our governing body:

📄 LDAF Policy Prohibiting Sexual Harassment

This policy is issued by the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry (LDAF) and applies to all Boards and Commissions under its authority, including the Louisiana Rice Promotion Board.

All employees, officials, and appointees are expected to:

  • Complete at least one hour of sexual harassment training annually.
  • Follow the procedures outlined in the policy to report and address complaints.
